FOOD HAMPERS

The food relief program supports the collection and distribution of donated food and goods to improve the well-being of families and individuals on low incomes, and those impacted by disasters.

​

It is coordinated by volunteers and relies on donations from the community. Thanks to Oz Harvest and our food sponsors Queensland Youth and Families Support Services can provide hampers to members of our community that need assistance with food.

​

We get different supplies each week, so hamper contents are dependent on what we receive. Usually they come with fruit and vegetables and a variety of other food including Meat when available.

​

Hampers must be ordered prior to the Wednesday of collection; hampers are collected from our office between 3:30- 4:15 pm. To minimise the wastage of food, if you don’t order prior to Wednesday no hamper will be available.  Any spare hampers are sent to our community partners for delivery, so ordering is a must.

 .

FRESH BAKERY AND FRUIT

We have fresh bakery on-site each day from Ray's Patisserie and Collingwood Park Patisserie. Each day varies but can include pies, sandwiches, bread rolls, cakes, pizzas and doughnuts.

Fresh fruit is donated by Woolworths (Goodna) each Monday Morning. Fruit available will vary week to week.

SHARE THE DIGNITY VENDING MACHINE

Purely and simply the #Pinkbox Dignity Vending Machine, is a vending machine that dispenses a FREE pack of 6 tampons and 2 pads.

 

Share the Dignity supply the vending machine, for FREE, install the vending machine and keep it supplied with FREE products. 

 

Dignity Vending Machine is programmed with a delivery delay of 10 minutes to ensure that no period packs are wasted.
